because mtf isnt her gender, that space is a gender marker not a journey descriptor and op's gender is female .. im trying to find something to compare it to but kinda failing here, imagine you lose a bunch of weight and instead of being refered to as average weight you're always referred to as former fat, even when its clearly obvious like in a progress pic, also as its a gender marker, it assumes that op wasnt a woman before she transitioned which (it really depends on the person here but still) a lot of people dislike because you can and are the gender you identify as whether your body is reflecting that in the way you want or not, so when i say its transphobic i mean that purely when talking about gender identity, not in other contexts
