I have tried it in the past, and didn't have success, however I actually just rejoined online as a means to track my food intake (literally joined 4 days ago, lol... what are the odds?). I think that this time will be the right time, as I'm finally living on my own (well, with boyfriend, but I buy the groceries, lol) so I won't have all the temptations constantly around or be surrounded by 6 other people who eat terribly and always offer me stuff while I'm trying to be healthy, haha.
I'm not doing meetings, but I'm trying to stay accountable in other ways. Having my boyfriend with me makes it easier, because even though he isn't doing the same diet I'm doing, he eats and likes the foods I cook and is great motivation to be better. I'm hoping that I can do finally do this, once and for all!
