Typically when you've had your turn on the village bicycle you don't go around and badmouth her to everybody.

You shame the ones that are sleeping with other people. It sounds like Renate would go on a lot of dates with different guys but nothing ever happened. So one guy, when asked about his date last night, bragged to his friends that they totally did it and she puts out on the first date. Seeing the easy conquest everybody in the circle started going to movies and whatnot with her and then lied the next day as to not appear as if they couldn't get any.

So it just doesn't make sense. Why would you brag about being with an easy girl. The implication of course being that she would do it with anyone.
