Facebook has deleted a post by the Norwegian prime minister in an escalating row over the website’s decision to remove content featuring the Pulitzer-prize winning “napalm girl” photograph from the Vietnam war.

Really depends on what you're trying to do in a search engine. My google search history would suggest that I ask random questions like "is bob barker still alive?"or "who invented bowling?"(it wasn't an American) And the rest is pretty much looking for reviews, maps, and store hours, locations, phone numbers, movie times, etc.

Anyway that's just me. I have no idea what normal people search for in Google?

In my UNQUALIFIED OPINION I would say that Google's advantage is that more commercial users list with them which is cool if you're looking for places, products, or services. You get your news from Reddit, Scholarly databases are there for when you're told Wikipedia isn't a proper reference, urban dictionary tells you what "YMMV" stands for, and the other 90% of the internets is social media and porn.

Now to really talk out of my ass: Bing is my go-to grownup tube site. YouTube is where I listen to free music, I prefer to network in person and frankly nobody gives a shit about your pictures, kids, pets, or your thoughts on ice-cream Vs frozen yogurt.

Now, that's not to say that Facebook is useless. Like Google It's a great marketing tool. (I personally don't mind the idea behind online activity tracking aimed at providing me with more relevant results. I don't think anyone cares about the weird porn you watch). Obviously this information can be misused as many other then s you trust institutions like your bank, cable, phone, and ISP not to share. Let's not forget that what started as a a hookup site for horny college students has been and still is a huge provider of communication and collaboration platforms which served as a cornerstone for pretty much every movement and revolution in modern history.

That was a rant I must be drunk but I still have feelings. Plz don't troll, trolling takes up tour time and energy, neither of which I'm worthy at 2am.
