Facebook and Google are becoming too big to be governed, French president Macron warns: 'At a point of time, your government, your people, may say, ‘wake up’'

Macron and his ilk don't really want them to be governed in the sense that they promote competitive and fair business practices for other companies or corporations. They would much rather continue to line their campaign coffers and pockets with cash and bribes from Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, and the like, just like Obama and Hillary did and just like Republicans do if they're offered cash for Big Tech-friendly regulations and policies. If all these leaders who claim to be "gravely concerned" by the rise of Big Tech go ahead and actually do something about their overwhelming control and influence of our lives then they can kiss their campaign contributions and tech cash goodbye. I assure you that they don't want to kiss it goodbye.

Macron, May, Merkel, and their ilk, if it comes to it, want these social media and Big Tech companies regulated so that they can spy on their own citizens all in the name of "equality" and "safety" so that anyone who speaks out against their self-destructive policies goes to jail or is fined and so that instead of actually doing what needs to be done to fix problems with increased crime, migration, and terrorism, they can just ramp up the police and security state by clamping down on your free speech rights and invading your privacy even more.

Everyone knows what needs to be done to solve problems social unrest and terror attacks but why should our leaders do that when they can just ask Zuckerberg to censor anyone who opposes their policies and speaks out on it?
