The Facebook users who reacted with laughing emojis to news of 27 asylum seekers drowning in the Channel

I’m literally a fucking senior merchant Navy officer, and he other week an old apprentice of mine was in the papers for leading a rescue of 30 people.

I would absolutely do the same if I wasn’t managing a shipyard project.

My trade union days were in this industry

I am not saying anything about that subject, only that you can’t go sacking people for Facebook comments, that’s terrible.

And from my experience, half the sailor s out there actually rescuing people tend to lean right and chat shit about letting them drown down in the crew mess, but they risk their lives in reality and rescue them.

What the fuck do you do? Apart from low effort pontificating on the internet while you complain how hard whatever piece of piss silly job you have is!!

Fuck off you ridiculous class signaling waste of space!
