Facepalm on the American Justice System

No, it’s totally not fair, in that they didn’t receive equal levels of representation in terms of quality of lawyers.

I was explaining how it happened, and why it happened. It’s because of money, not race.

Are you saying that Loris lawyers would turn down an equally wealthy African American client with the same case?

Clearly skin color was not the cause of sentencing disparity, it’s money and a difference in the statues, because keep in mind, these are completely different crimes.

I think the laws should be rewritten to make more amicable sentencing guidelines and allow for some leeway for “honest” mistakes. But again, none of that is based on racial lines of reasoning.
