Factorio Raising Price After Seven Years Without A Sale

Don't buy it even on sale because you obviously don't want to play it

I am a huge fan of Dark Souls 3. I had 2 fresh playthroughs and and even made it to NG+7 for one of them.

I'm super excited to play Elden Ring, but I'm waiting for a sale that's at least 50% off. If I have to wait another year, so be it.

I feel like you purchase games at full price, while most people, myself included, are patient enough to wait for a discount. That's just the way it is.

So when Factorio announces an increase in price and claims no sale will ever occur for an almost decade-old game, all of those patient players get upset.

And lo and behold. Look at the comments section, and you'll see exactly the same arguments brought up, time and time again.
