Get the facts about police violence in your community to make the case for change.(mappingpoliceviolence.org)

Anyone mentions someone pulling a race card probably ignores these issues as eye roll worthy.

Well, that's a rather nice way to ignore what I said in the beginning of the post, which is that I support the idea of Police Reform. Here's a tip to dissuade your assumptions about me, though I doubt it'll help as you seem to have already made up your mind about who and what I am, contrary to the evidence. I grew up in the Hood. I'm well aware how the economically-disadvantaged are treated, both by society and the Police. Now how about we quit trying to drive a wedge based on race and discuss facts, hmm?

Because based on numbers it points to race being the defining factor.

Did you even check the chart on that page? If whether or not you were African American was the deciding factor into whether or not the police shot you, you wouldn't even see any other races on that chart. Fact remains, when the issue is the fact that Police have too much power, and exercise it at-will to the detriment of the community, it doesn't matter what pigmentation your skin is, because it endangers everybody's freedom. You don't have to be a member of the NAACP or the Black Panthers to see this. Police have too much power in this day and age, and their Public Sector Unions allow them to run roughshod over the public, with the Taxpayer paying the ultimate price, in both Life and Wallet for their mistakes. Even in cases where they're demonstrably in the wrong, they often only get a slap-on-the-wrist. Why are you so adamant about refusing to admit that the issue is the Police's ability to run roughshod over the rights of the citizenry? You seem to care more about race than the issues of police corruption and police malfeasance, which are at the core of this problem.

Even if we were to eliminate all PoC cases from that chart, by addressing the issue of police shooting specifically PoC, you'd still have incidents where they inexcusably overreached their authority by acting as judge, jury, and executioner. Ergo this issue is one of police overreach and constitutional violation (Deprivation of life without due process).

One final bit, just to blow that illusion that this is about "Meanie Whitey" trying to keep the Black Man down out of the water. Ferguson Police Department, just to take a recent example of a PD caught in the middle of their inexcusable shenanigans, isn't exactly the Ku Klux Klan when it comes to what demographic they employ. Considering how widespread across police departments this is, and how many PoC PD's across the country employ, you're going to have to do better than that to frame this as "Evil Racist Whitey wants to keep the Black Man oppressed."
