Failed Micro 2 years ago. Emobolization or denervation?

So the orchiectomy solved 100% of the pain on the right, which was 7/10 round the clock pain from chronic epididymitis. I would've offed myself if I had received a diagnosis that that was permanent and no doctor would take it out. That was a huge relief and didn't affect hormones or confidence at all. Having one is kind of a funny novelty.

Having none is a game changer. Infertility and hormone problems for life are guaranteed, never mind the depression and confidence. Which sucks because orchiectomy is a 100% slam dunk for things like chronic varicoceles, epididymitis. Guys don't want to hear this, but I've seen many guys who regret doing denervation rather than just removing the diseased tissue from their bodies.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense that a doctor is recommending neorolysis when I have obviously inflamed and swollen tissue in the form of a varicocele. It makes more sense if we can divert blood flow and shrink the vein, the pain will reduce. Although I do have a tender spot on the head of my epididymis that concerns me, but it's not what is preventing me from sitting.

Denervation is probably never going to happen. If the embo fails, it's probably long term pelvic floor PT, followed by orchiectomy a few years down the road. I can't bring myself to risk permanent disability. I've already had 4 ankle surgeries and 3 testicular surgeries and come back relatively well from all of them. I couldn't live with myself if denervation went wrong and it was all for nothing.
