Fairly new HENRY here: How do you guys navigate dating efficiently?

gold digger is an inherently gendered and sexist trope

Gold digger: a person who forms a relationship with another purely to extract money from them. Your inherent assumption doesn't change definitions.

Why are you assuming the women you’re going out with are after your money, and are not like minded professionals who maybe make even more than you?

You keep conflating assumptions with feelings. Assumptions can be based on feelings but they are not solely feelings

They don't make more. if they did, cool. They don't, not even close, and that's okay.

Do you think we don't talk about careers and such? Or that I don't know what they do for a living?

This isn't about whether I think my socioeconomic position makes me better than anyone. It does not.

The point is that you’re out here being like “are women gonna try to get me because I’m so rich” and people are telling you that you are not rich.

Very valid feeling.

Also, I don't know whether you are American, but most people here seemed to be. You must be completely unaware of the economy in London. Whether you like it or not, in the UK, 168k before taxes is the top 1% of earners.

160k after taxes, Top 0.5%. The average salary here is 40k before taxes and 30k after.

The US is not the world, it is the US. 140k here goes as far as 350k or more in major cities there.

There aren't many high earners in London. It is just that those that earn high, earn very high.
