''Fake it until you make it'' is common advice for unconfident people and imposter syndrome. But Bayesian reasoning argues that it takes more than willpower and good intentions to succeed

I don't believe you should feel guilt my friend, take it from me I'm a half Native American man who grew up on a reservation that I'm still not quite sure wasn't a surface entrance to hell, I saw murders, I was molested most of my fellow children were molested, incest rampant abuse even more so, no running water and hardly enough to eat and a nation of people who couldn't care less. There's always someone who's had it worse though, there's even people who had it worse than me I'm sure, you need no ones permission to complain. Complaining is just another sort of hoping for something better I think, if you stop complaining you've likely stopped caring.

I hope it does go into the mainstream soon, my first psychedelic experience was with peyote in a sort of religious setting and for weeks after I felt a sort of freedom that's difficult not to long for. As with all things progress may only ever be slowed but never completely halted. In time I hope we all have better access to any tool that can help in the Sisyphean struggle that is dealing with depression.
