Falcon replaced Steve Rogers as the new Captain America, Yelena replaced Natasha as the new Black Widow and Kate Bishop is probably going to replace Clint as The New Hawkeye.

Am I the only one that sees the potential for Shang-Chi replacing Captain America?

No, no, no. I don't mean wearing the spangly spandex and carrying the shield, I mean the personality type and what he represents.

Falcon was always the comedic relief, a follower (only because he was written to be the co-pilot), fairly outspoken, and now he'll take on a brand new role in being a voice for representation.

Shang-Chi is a bit more reserved, motivated by moral obligation to what's right, has a sidekick, and there's this 'air' of destiny about him. He just needs to work on this speech giving qualities.

I dunno. I'm sure I'll be in the minority on this one, but it just makes sense to me.
