The Fall of America

I admittedly admired him when I first found his channel a few years back. I was in my teens at the time and I learned a lot from him about work ethic, taking care of the stuff you own, and being someone who helps his family. My father never really taught me any of that so it was nice to watch and learn.

As I grow older I find myself at odds with a lot of his opinions. He kind of rubs me as a bit of a "men work outside, women should either be in the garden or in the kitchen" type of guy. Or "Toxic Macho". He's said some mysoginistic and homophobic things before that I strongly disagree with.

I think it's important to separate the man from his works. Yeah Cody probably isn't the person that I want to take political advice from or ask how I should raise a daughter, but he does have some valuable things to share. I just wish he'd focus more on the latter and not the former.
