That same meme logic could easily be applied the mods and console commands used to "fix" those "features" and other aspects of the games as well, it's as much a part of the culture surrounding Bethesda games as the glitches themselves.

I supposed it would be most accurate to say that they both are right. If using console or a mod to accomplish the exact same goal that could be achieved through exploitations of "features" doesn't feel like cheating to the person using it, it's not. At the same time if that same thing sounds like cheating to someone else, it is, for them. It's a single player game you can only cheat yourself out of fun, you decide those boundaries.
