Fallout: New California disappointed me (spoilers and, uh, fixed).

Name me the mods that overshadowed the base game in the writing department.

Contextually, in relation to the size of the development team, this add ons game world is probably just as baland and under developed as FO3 and FONV (and FO4 to some extent).

I'm also not sure what exactly OP wants. Does he just want named areas with enemies (the Fallout 4 method)? Does he want more side quests with fully fleshed out buildings, characters, and quest lines (aka stuff that is difficult with a tiny dev team)?

I hope they see this criticism and think of ways to improve the content through updates/later releases. But I also hope they don't see the TWO threads on the front page of /r/fallout criticizing these minor parts of the content and feel dissuaded from continuing to work or taking on another similar project in FO4's engine.
