Fallout NV DLC story questions

Once upon a time there was a tribe called the Twisted Hairs who lived around Northwest Arizona. They enjoyed this life until one day they sided with this up-and-coming group called the Legion. The two groups worked together so well that all who opposed them were assimilated into the Legion. Then, out of people who opposed them, the Legion decided to assimilate their allies. And at a place called Dry Wells everyone who called themselves a Twisted Hair suddenly found that by the end of the day they would either call themselves a Legionary or a corpse. One such person who has to make this choice joined the Legion as a frumentarus, a spy. This man's name was Ulyssess.

Working for Caesar, Ulyssess did a lot of things. He went West, for starters. He found Hoover Dam, and told Caesar about it. And he also found a place called the Divide, though he never told Caesar about that, because he secretly liked to more than the Legion. Unfortunately for Ulysses, this little town in the Divide was fated to meet an untimely end, when it suddenly exploded and, Ulysses barely escaped with his life. Some wonder if he escaped with his sanity.

Regardless, after that, Ulysses moped around for a while. He fulfilled some orders from Caesar when he went to advise the White Legs. He told them how to fight, he helped them raid a pre-war armory, and he instructed them to wipe out New Canaan. But for some reason Ulysses didn't feel at home with the group of people who gleefully beat children to death as they slept and burn the elderly in their homes. So then he went south.

He eventually found a place that some call the Big Empty, and others call Big MT. There he met up with all sorts of wacky fellows, like an old Brotherhood of Steel elder who he told about the Serria Madre, and a group of brains in a jar. Those brains in a jar were a little crazy, but Ulysses managed to talk a little sense into them an in return they told him why the Divide exploded years ago. It was because a certain Courier brought a package that happened to contain launch codes for some of the nuclear warheads trapped in the Divide. When those codes accidentally set off the nukes the Divide was ruined. But not all the nukes were detonated. Some remained, and Ulysses could gain control of them if he went back.

So then Ulysess went back to the Divide, waiting for the Courier, who eventually came and beat Ulysses to death with an oversized Nuka-Cola sign. The End.
