Fan Friction

Okay I actually read this comment section before I went to watch the video and at first I didn't see what people thought was too much but once it hit around the halfway (I think) mark I could understand. Just two guys kissing (first half) is different from when they started talking "hot dick, hard cocks, jizz, tips touching" etc....but at the same time its understandable because that is a true representation of fan fiction lol..

I think this is kinda like Wolf of Wall Street when there was a lot of people expecting just Leonardo DiCaprio doing his thing on wallstreet but as soon as they went to the theaters they got sex and drugs all over the place and had a lot of people walking out. The sex and drugs in WOWS isnt out of place because it serves the story.

This also serves the story but in rocketjump's case it is out of place in the way that if a regular TV channel that you were used to their media of just straight action movies and comedies all of a sudden played 50 shades of gray. As in, not a channel that occassionally played other movies or a channel that long ago played other movies but since the beginning have been consistantly action and comedy. That's where it can feel 'ham-fisted'. I know my little sister and brother found RJ through VGHS (and probably other kids too) and would be very...puzzled (to say the least) if they saw this. I also know that since RJ did VGHS they're not permanently required to be "disney-like" but at the same time...

All in all it's a weird/ a bit random subject to try and tackle so most people are probably like "..why?" just based off that but then you add the (justified) gratuitousness and people nope out. And it almost seems like a waste to do a story about two teens writing fanfiction when they have the Hulu budget that they do right now.
