FANCAST: A fancast for a hypothetical 1997 "Justice League of America" film. What if the Batman film series had turned out a bit differnent, and led to a reboot of Superman? Who would you cast in the franchise that followed?

Not bad, not bad at all.

Had a few ideas for other heroes myself, might as well share because this is a lot of fun!

Shazam: Brendan Fraser (Big overgrown kid in a superhero's body, perfect for Fraser)

Black Canary: Jamie Lee Curtis (Especially in the wake of True Lies)

Green Arrow: Patrick Swayze (Take the devil-may-care attitude and charm he had in Point Break and apply it to a superhero)

Dick Grayson: Chris O'Donnell (He wasn't a bad choice for Grayson, just needed a better script and director)

Jason Todd: Edward Furlong (This is more wishful thinking, but I think it could work)

Tim Drake: Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Smart, talented, would nail the young detective)

Barbara Gordon: Sarah Michelle Gellar (Both as action-packed Batgirl and the more insightful, scarred Oracle)
