Wow, it's like that guy didn't diagnose OP. He didn't. It sounds like OP is either unable to gleam emotions from eyes, or he doesn't know what metaphors are. Either way, it sounds like they aren't able to perceive something that naturally and subconsciously comes to most people. Hence "Have you considered".

Okay, buddy. He just saw that OP shows signs that he cannot comprehend certain emotions or abstract thinking, and thought it might be a symptom of it.
