You think devs take 2 years to throw a shovel? It’s the FC4 spear reskinned.

Devs waste time trying to bring the narrative vision to life.

Narrative team: “Hey make a mission where we jump out of a plane on a donkey, and he is wearing the parachute.

Devs: “Buutt... we dont have a donk...”

Narrative team: “You said something?”

Entire dev team goes back to work

Dev: “Hey here is your mission”

Narrative: “haha yeah that’s fun, but too ridiculous, let’s not do that, try an elephant and a boat. Oh and make the elephant red white and blue just for kicks”.

Moral is you can tell yourself those devs were expensive, but it’s entirely the narrative teams fault.
