Rant: super heavy patient came in the other day in her mid-twenties with roaring blood sugar after not taking her diabetes medicine for a month. Her dad (???) was there with her (again: she's in her mid twenties) and is complaining about how he "can't get her to take her meds" and she's giving all this attitude to the staff when (politely) asked about her weight and whether she exercises, etc. She didn't seem to have any sort of learning or mental disability that would warrant her dad being there (could be wrong buuuttt). Just seemed to not want to take control of her own life. Like what a strange, dependent person; you're not at the doctors office for no reason, honey bunches.
