Fatal car accidents in the United States spike by 6% during the workweek following the “spring forward” to daylight saving time, resulting in about 28 additional deaths each year, according to new University of Colorado Boulder research.

All it would mean is that farmers would have to adjust their schedule by an hour. I dont see what Im missing. Time is time - its only related to a part of the day because humans decided that. Im sure there arent many farmers who truly care what hour they get up to do their job. And by the way... B.s. on the "farmers cant afford to pay staff fair wages" (as if that has anything to do with the conversation) my "father-in-law" (not technically married) was a farmer in iowa and has a ton of farmer friends... they are doing ok. New trucks every year. Sweet farm equipment just because they can.

The average farm in the U.S. NETS almost 90k a year. Since farmers generally live on their farm that means those cost are accounted for. As well as the new truck and new farm equipment because you need those things to farm. Sure its not a rich mans lifestyle but once you factor in the (again generally) low cost of living in farming areas, farmers are ok. Now how we got on this topic I have no idea... but you havent made a compelling point for either of these arguments.
