Being "a life" means absolutely nothing.

What about a chicken? They complete biological functions and have unique DNA, they are absolutely alive. So since "life" if your only metric for whether something can be terminated... I sure hope you're vegetarian...

Biologically, a chicken is indeed a life, moreover said chicken has committed no crime, and IS therefore an innocent party; those are simple, provable facts, regardless of your feelings towards them. Whether they meet the criteria to be granted the same rights as the rest of us, and at what stage of development, may be up for debate, but your claim that "it's not a life" is completely contrary to scientific facts.
