Fats taking over my "niche"

I'm male, but I feel the same way. You're the kind of girl I would want to date, but can't seem to find. You're into nerdy/geeky/odd shit, but you're not a fatass. I know literally no single females that are into the same shit as me who aren't also fat. Not hitting on you, just commiserating.

It actually affects friendships, too . . . most of my friends that share my interests are fatasses. They're fun people and we have a good time hanging out, but I still find their fatness disgusting. They're constantly eating junk food and/or talking about food they love. They (well, some of them) also talk about how they're trying to lose weight, work out, and are watching their diet . . . all while shoving some kind of fucking snack in their faces. This also means I can't discuss my non-fat hobbies with them, like lifting. I can't begin to describe how much I would love to have some geeky gym-bros that'd be just as excited talking about the next Marvel movie or Fallout game as they would be discussing routines, meals with good macros, and PRs.

Related, I noticed that you listed burlesque as one of the things you're into. That's something I've wanted to check out, especially the nerdy themed kinds, but every time I get a flyer or invitation to such a show it is evident that the performers are fucking lardasses. Who the fuck wants to watch beached whales undress? Ugh. And the people who are still into it always say shit about how it's not about ogling sexy bodies, it's about artfully removing clothing. That doesn't change the fact that the bodies being uncovered are disgusting! I'd sooner watch someone artfully undress a rotting corpse.
