Favorite female relationship? (Spoilers Main)

I agree, these are strange favorite female relationships to have. The reason why I consider them my favorites is because I find it interesting to read more about them, even if some of these relationships are antagonistic, even toxic in the case of Cersei and Taena.

  1. Sansa and Arya are among my favorite characters and I like seeing the different journeys they undertake. Personally, I don't think they hated each other as Sansa just seemed like the black sheep who wasn't as close to her siblings whereas Arya preferred to spend time with Jon and Bran. The whole Lady dilemma definitely fractured their relationship but I think they have realized the importance of the pack (as opposed to the lone wolf) through their experiences so I'd be excited to see how they interact if/when they see each other again.

2) I agree that Catelyn did make Brienne do something very dangerous and traitorous but I can fully empathize why she would do that as grief pushed her over the edge to make an irrational, emotional decision. Catelyn is also one of the few people who treats Brienne well and steps up to stop Robar Royce from cutting down Brienne which I'm sure she was grateful for. And while you're right, it's not a relationship between equals, I think it's very touching how important Brienne considers her vows to Catelyn to be.

3) I don't think it was rape because Taena responded positively to Cersei's advances even though she clearly attempting to emulate what Robert was doing to her. I'm curious to see Cersei's reaction once it's revealed that Taena's been playing her and I just find it interesting how flattery dissipates Cersei's paranoia for Taena specifically.

4) I haven't seen that theory so thanks for letting me know, I'll definitely be looking it up.

Just wondering, what are your favorite female relationships?
