These submissions are better suited for Fun and Fancy Free Friday threads. You may self-promote or link to a video by making a thread that stands on its own, and linking to it in the comments. Make sure your thread supports in-depth discussion. A good thread begins with more than one paragraph. A good thread, even if it’s asking a question, points discussion in a specific direction. Hot button topics are not interesting; your nuanced stance on them is. All posts on specific films are assumed to be spoiler filled. Spoilers in more general threads must be tagged. (See instructions below.) Make sure a subject or film you're posting about hasn't been discussed recently. Consider whether your thread is better suited for another subreddit. (e.g., "I'm trying to remember a movie..." is best suited for /r/TipOfMyTongue, etc) Use this formula [ Spoiler ] ( # s "Rosebud is his..." ), with the only space being between the "s" and the first quote, for spoilers.
