The issue is the talent pool is so thin at the highest level

I blame the pros all playing in their little exclusive pugs and never interacting with anyone but each other. You can't discover any outside talent if you never actually meet any outside players. This is probably why trams just shuffle the same players around all the time.

I think a game like LoL that is constantly pulling new players out of solo queue and stuff is better in that regard. The competition is higher when theres always the threat of being replaced for poor performance.

The NA CS pros play like they know they're always going to stay employed even if they suck.
