The most difficult part is knowing when. Do we wait for the night of broken glass? Will we even know when it happens? We're so used to having news from across the country at out fingertips. If there isn't news out of a city regarding protests/riots how do we know they haven't simply been put down without the capacity to report?

I'm afraid of waking up a decade from now and trying to think back to now and pinpoint the exact point in which we should have stood up to say 'no more.'

We will end up living in a world where the avoidance of violence has led us into the house of tyranny? The most American thing any of us can do right now is to gather peacefully, en masse, and protest in the streets. But if our peaceful intent is met with a violent response by the powers that be, and our cause and voices are trodden upon, at what point do we stand up? At what point do we fight back?

The scariest thing in America is that the violent antifa movement that our government pretends is sweeping the nation might actually be exactly what we need.
