Fearing Saudi wrath the West treads cautiously on Khashoggi case

Isn't money, in the end, just the ability to control your own fate? Not having money is almost literally akin to slave status because your life is completely controlled by everything except for you. Money is this weird magic that allows us to pull away from natures yoke a little and live our short lives by standards we, individually, dictate. Maybe money isn't the problem, it is our societal and moral stupidity in relation to it. We would be much better off if we could just talk about money. Openly discuss how it is accrued, responsibility that comes with it, and intelligent handling of it. No one, it seems, is comfortable having this conversation.
