I believe this event was UFC 137 where GSP was supposed to fight Nick Diaz but something happened with Nick Diaz not showing up to the press conference so they gave the fight to Condit but then GSP injured his knee (pre ACL tear) so then they were like well let's just make Condit vs Diaz and then everyone was like yay but then it didn't end up being a blood bath that everyone though and then the meme generated for Diaz 1,3, and 5 or something because controversial decision.

But earlier in the card, I remember this skinny young Hawaiian kid got beat really bad by Dustin Poirier in the first round. I remember thinking wow that guy probably isn't going to make it far because if he's losing that badly in his first UFC fight, he'll likely end up being a nobody.

Boy was I wrong.
