Federal disaster adaptation fund meant to last over a decade is more than half spent

I said from the start, at the producer. Of course producers pass on those costs to consumers, and consumers ultimately decide of that formerly inexpensive good is still worth it, and wether or not that creates space in the market for new entrants to produce more sustainable alternatives locally.

As for how to actually tax it at the producer before it enters the country….that’s for people who have a much better grasp of tariffs and trade treaties than me. That doesn’t mean I don’t believe it couldn’t be achieved….if the government wanted.

Why are we going in circles? You’re the one who supports capitalism, Im not explaining anything new to you here.

Now, if we’re saying that all of this is pointless talk and impossible UNDER CAPITALISM, well then, I’d have agree with you there 100%, the ruling class would never allow it. But theoretically, that’s how capitalist economists themselves say we SHOULD tackle to problem according to capitalist economics.
