RMS's removal was political from the onset, similarly to Linus's break/temporary leave. If you really have seen anything over the past several decades, you may have seen corporations engage in embrace, extend, and extinguish, or other activities to remove roadblocks towards greater corporate market share. RMS is committed to freedom in software and the open source community; highly doubt the next person be anything but a corporate compromising PC figurehead, shit if you're lucky they will have no background in IT or software.

This was never about the actual crux of what RMS may have done, said, or someone misconstrued. It was always about politics, seems you conveniently blinked at that one multiple times old man.
