That sounds bonkers, and I'd like to hear a sane explanation of it. Why would a bank give out 200 million for 10 years with only 20 in collateral? I could maybe see it if they expected a massive payday down the line, but presumably they view CIG as a normal company, in which case what they should be seeing are "sales" that stay in the red for years. And so far are not improving over time either, which I could have seen as a point in their favor.

What possible motive could a bank have for eating such a risk? Did Roberts dazzle them with promises of future sales?

It pisses me off that when you act like I need the word of Derek for any of this. Just keep pushing me, and we'll see how pleasant this conversation turns.
