This is why I usually just delete negative comments

Im by nature very submissive. English isn't my first language and its hard to debate when you can't put things into words. Confrontations makes me anxious and looking down at my phone the next 2 hours, trying to make sure I'm correct in my phrasing. I often times end up wondering why I should even be wasting time in replying.

Certainly, that line you quipped about writers who can't take criticism fits me like a glove. But I think I'm happier off being a tyrant on my fics and deleting these criticisms than to surround myself with negativity, tormenting myself with it. Commenters may have spent a great deal of time to type out those words, but if the result of their time is my torment and stress, I really don't see why I should leave it up there for myself
