FEEL THE BERN

I'm sorry, but I just have to point out the irony of a book written by a Jewish guy that disparages communism by using the ideology that was at odds with communism as the insult. Reminds me of who came up with communism/bolshevism and perpetuated it in the first place.

Why can't we just call them what they are, Marxists? They literally wear marxism on their sleeves for christ's sake. I don't see them touting too many nazi arm bands or mussolini coats. Look at the fascists of the past and the communists of the past. Which people do they more clearly resemble? They sound a hell of a lot like bolsheviks and ancomms to me, and don't really parrot much Evola/Mussolini/Hitler/Mosley rhetoric.

I'll grant you there is no consensus of fascist beliefs, but the more you study them, the more you get an understanding of the broader overtones: militarism, hyper-nationalism, national corporatism. Just because the doctrine hasn't been strictly pinned down to one core belief set doesn't mean you can't get an understanding of what these people were going for at the time in a broader sense.

Marxism and Communism are about the most globalist systems of belief you can get. Just because both exhibited plenty of militarism, censorship and other bits of totalitarianism doesn't mean they are one in the same. They had different goals and different aims, that's literally why WW2 broke out, because fascism was at odds with communism. You're calling cats dogs.
