Why do I feel like almost every unranked to gm is like: oh silver is so lame just stop being silver lol.

It's really fucking cringe that people still shovel this amount of bullshit to defend smurfs that just have the word 'educational' in the title of their 13 viewer streams.

are actually helpful in how they apply certain ideas or concepts of higher ELO into lower ELO games

Is this something that couldn't have been explained in a custom game or while reviewing a replay? I recall people that actually part of the educational ow community like svb and jayne used to do custom games, challenges and tourneys. It's almost weird how they didn't buy a bronze account to shit on bad players for money huh?

I also don't think it's that impactful to low ELO because the GMs are going to get out of low ELO REALLY fast.

You know you can place directly in diamond right at lvl 27, right? First of all, they're intentionally placing in a low elo. Second, 'real fast' is subjective; not everyone is a full time no lifer that for whatever reason can play on 20 ow accounts. People have limited time and having to guess every win or loss due to the amount of people that do this shit ruined the competitive integrity of the game a long time ago.

It's not a hot take, it's a bad take. But hey, it's the farmville of fps games for a reason.
