I feel like I'm falling in hole.

I'm sorry you're growing apart from your friends. I know how easy it is to feel isolated from people you were once closer to, that's no fun at all, especially these days when isolation has a whole new meaning.

I think it's cool that you like gaming and edgier music (I was a Dead Kennedys fan back when I was your age). I think you implied that you were some version of LGBT, which I think is cool, too. There's nothing better than being yourself, and enjoying things that call to you, whether or not the people around you share that interest.

Here's where I'm supposed to give you some wisened grandfatherly advice, but it will sound so shallow and performative: It gets better. That's it, it gets better.

I'm sorry you're hurting. It sucks to watch people you like have a good time without you. But your life is just getting started. The gaming community is huge, and young women like yourself have gaming groups that you'll be able to find and join. You'll find other punk fans, and you can jam together.

And even if you won't be as close as you were, you don't even have to lose the group of friends you're talking about. They can forever be your "remember when" posse, who you send Christmas cards to until you're 90, or get together once a year for girls night. It's hard to see it when you're hurting, but there is joy in that.
