Feel like I’m “behind“ on growing/phases

I’ve taken Straterra as an alternative to Ritalin and it seemed to be much easier on the heart and psyche. As far as the Neurological effects from Ritalin, I can mostly only speak from personal experience but have come across many online articles stating research studies and long term affects of the drug Ritalin.

Ritalin is powerful no doubt about it! I was on a heavy 30-40mg daily dose of Ritalin for about 6 years from ages 12-16 and again from 19-21.

The general consensus is that there are no long term detrimental effects to the brain but I feel like there have not been enough studies to conclude this. Either way, these drugs will help an ADHD victim find a sort of peace of mind when it comes to focusing and needing motivation.

My thoughts are if it’s available to you and you’re able to avoid any potential risk, it’s an avenue worth exploring! Cheers
