I feel like the only thing I lack of to be the best version of myself, is to lose a lot of weight. The problem is, I am way too lazy and always tired to do so. Any ways you guys have to keep yourself and me motivated?

You can read a few nutrition books (SuperfoodsRx is a good one, Ultrametabolism is gimmicky but informative & weight loss focused), but you DO know what a healthy diet is and is not. And you are aware you aren’t doing anything to keep healthier food nearby which is why you resort to junk food. You know the problems and deep down you know the solutions. You cannot rely on motivation because it’s not going to last. You need to set rules for yourself & keep to them even when you don’t want to. If you are obese, it’s going to take maybe a year to lose your excess weight. You will NOT wake up every day full of excitement about your diet. But you can wake up and grab a yogurt and strawberries and oatmeal you already planned out bc going to the fridge is easier than stopping at a fast food restaurant. Go to the grocery store this weekend and get mainly fruits and vegetables and lean chicken & maybe yogurt and eggs. Little to no cheese and no processed foods (junk) and no grains other than brown rice and oatmeal. Figure out some easy vegetable heavy things to prepare (omelettes?) and plan out what your general food routine will be. You can adjust it over the next month as needed. Maybe get yourself one treat like dark chocolate for after dinner. ONE thing ONLY. When you are tempted to eat processed food, tell yourself that you just aren’t allowed to eat that way anymore. You are becoming a new person.
