I feel like people/companies are only nice to its customers for the money...

If you don't like money and working you can disengage from society and live in the woods with no luxuries. If you want to be part of society you have to contribute. It's a choice, not a tragedy. You don't have to enter the work force if you don't mind earning nothing and having nothing. If you want contributions you have to make contributions.

Did it occur to you that spending extra time on one kid standing in line at Disney means every kid at the back of the line misses out? This is a society we all have to work together and do our part. It's not just about the most money, it's about the most productions. The most kids getting their picture taken. The most customers being satisfied. Maximizing profit is, of course, the bottom line. But just because work is monetarily profitable doesn't mean it is damaging or value-less in other ways. Just because your work is your priority while you're on the clock, doesn't mean your kindness isn't sincere. None of these things are mutually exclusive. I think you'd feel better if you could accept that.
