I feel so lost right now without gaming

Hey, so the void filled by games is a really big problem in general since there are few other things so engaging, I do struggle a bit with that myself.

That's the usual argument "Well if I'm going to sit around all day on the internet or watching series I might as well engage my brain with games".

That's certainly true to a certain extent, and so the question becomes what other things can slowly overtake that hobby. A big problem with depression and anxiety is that you feel to weak to do anything, and getting psychological help is a pretty good thing to combat that.

Even if they only tell you to make a list of things you are going to do before the next visit can be helpful.

In the same vein it's nice if you find other friends who can do just that - monitor your progress on some goals. These can be the usual administration stuff that you may have to do, as well as preparing other things. Studying, working out, making music etc.

Now, I don't know about your friends, but it helped me to find out that I wasn't the only one who wanted to quit. Just ask around, you might be surprised to find out that others are thinking about quitting, too. It's a lot easier then to go completely cold-turkey then.

Other advice that people have given here that is generally good: Don't play competitive multiplayer if you don't want to quit gaming all together. Do not go into ranked games any more.

It's also a good idea to go on walks outside. This might just help you think about stuff you could potentially do. Check out what your city offers this week. It might be surprisingly interesting and engaging.
