I Feel the Priority of Destiny's Development has Shifted from Creating a Unique, Memorable Experience to Inflating Playtime At-All-Costs... and it Feels Pretty Shitty.

Destiny is one of the most fun fps games around to me, i love the gunplay, abilities, strikes, raids.

But everything else kinda sucks. Theres nothing i want enough to repeatedly grind the same content. Finishing up getting my hunter to power cap isnt worth the annoyance of multiple useless dupes.

Im the kind of person that can spend stupid amounts of time just to see the money in the bank go up. I can do mindless activites for ages to craft gear just to unlock skins i want.

But destiny just repeatedly makes me feel like ive wasted my time 'oh look a drop! Its a dupe/same level/trash roll? Well in the bin you go!'

I stopped playing a few weeks after beyond lights raid and i thought id pick it up again for vog but playing catch-up with the rng leveling just killed it for me especially after a break.

What im trying to say is that bungie sucks at inflating play time.
