feeling dumb for buying a prebuilt now (help me plz)

Could be something just been nudged during transit. Sounds silly but try and reseat the gpu/ram etc. I had a similar issue, everything would work... for a while then it would freeze. Took gpu out an put back in then it was fine from there (which could have been pure luck/coincidence but worked for me.

Bottom line is, you're pre-build is fine. Troubleshoot the issue as much as you can and get it replaced if you can't solve it.

Your parts are more than fine for literally every game out there an don't sweat the elitist types that say pre build sucks, building a PC isn't for everyone and apart from a few select parts and cheaper psu/mobo etc they're no different.
