I have a feeling that global collapse will happen this year or the next. Not 2030s.

Global collapse can be viewed as a long, drawn out death, starting with the industrial revolution when factories, trains and households used coal for energy and heating. The invention of the combustion engine added to the problem, along with aerosol sprays and refrigerants. Mass production of diary and meat products contributes through the release of methane, although farming on its own is less offensive than the burning of fossil fuels and the use of ozone depleting chemicals. Add micro-plastics to the water supply, large scale plastic pollution in the oceans, and radioactive waste from nuclear reactor failures (including nuclear submarine accidents), and nuclear weapon production / past use. Even though earth’s increasing deterioration becomes more apparent everyday, her death is a long, slow process.
