You don't owe him ANYTHING. Let's get that straight, but I want to tell you a story.

I met a couple once and they were so crazy in love. The woman ended up taking how they got together. Basically a very similar sorry to yours. But at some point the guy told her he couldn't see her any more because it was too painful. He asked her to only contact him if she wanted a romantic relationship.

Anyway she agreed but she felt sick at the thought of not having him in her life. Anyway she decided to try and she said it felt really weird and first because she was not attracted to him like that.

But... things just changed all of the sudden and she said it was the best decision she ever made. She was utterly gushing over this guy.

I'm not saying you should do it. I probably wouldn't- I think you have to feel it. But hey it worked for that one girl...
