You can def discern by looking at pro matches alone. The devs ask pros for their opinions not silvers, lmao. They're watching pro matches when they work on balance. Your top paragraph is kind of a strawman anyway because I was originally comparing Korean GMs to NA casuals in lower leagues. Your second paragraph is also a strawman because I am indeed not arguing that balance doesn't effect lower leagues at all. I'm merely saying that balance rarely ever accounts for the sole reason that silvers are losing games.... So a silver can talk about balance all he wants as long as he's talking about it in a Korean pro framework. But for a silver to blame a single unit for his losses when he gets a natural at 10 minutes and never even saturates his mineral lines and injects every 3-4 minutes is beyond silly.
