fellow Redditors what was the most corrupt/bullsh*t thing that you discovered/thought?

I took a college class online in a neighboring state. They required a wireless campus fee for internet across the school. We also had to pay a gym/pool usage fee. I have never been to the state, let alone the town.

We also had a mandatory meal plan that you could not opt out of, with set spending minimums.. if you didn't use it all, the school got your money. It did not roll over to the next semester either. Didn't matter if you were located on campus or commuted, you still had to pay.

Our professor also wrote the textbooks required for the class. Mandatory purchase. We never needed to open the book the entire semester. New edition came out the next semester. TL;DR - college.
