Fellow San Diegans, what are some widely/lesser known urban legends from our beautiful city?

Fun story: when I was in high school my friends wanted to drive down Proctor Valley road at midnight just for some Friday night fun. I couldn’t make it because I had plans with other friends but they went ahead without me (it was like five high schoolers crammed into a minivan). Apparently what happened was they got a flat tire while on the road and were stranded there for like an hour before AAA came out. Every single person swears that while they were waiting they heard what sounded like a woman screaming in the distance. It scared them so much that one of them started crying and they all refused to get out of the van until help arrived. Honestly, it sounded kind a fun time to me because I’m a sucker for some ghost adventure type shit and was bummed I didn’t go lol
