Kobe's ranks since the stat has been tracked are: 2008 1st, 2009 2nd, 2010 1st, 2011 12th, 2012 2nd, 2013 Injury year, 2014 5th, and even in last year's plodding campaign he managed to rank 1st.

It is fine not to like Kobe, as that is a subjective opinion that cannot be debated (I do not like Kobe, and it pains me to say anything positive about him). It is fine to think that other players were more clutch, or to rather have other players on your team. However, to say that Kobe was never clutch is to ignore facts and lie to yourself. A real debate about Kobe is if he is the second best shooting guard in the history of the NBA, or if that spot still belongs to Jerry West.
